Finding your Maine Coon should be exciting, simple, and safe.

Midwest Maine Coons features kittens from our own breeding program as well as carefully selected professional catteries that share our standards for health, responsible breeding, and proper kitten care.

We do the screening — you choose the kitten you love.

1. Find Your Kitten

Browse our Available Kittens and choose the kitten you are interested in.

Each kitten listed on Midwest Maine Coons comes from a professional breeding program known to us and accepted for placement through our network.

If you don't see exactly what you're looking for, send us an inquiry and tell us your preferences. We may have upcoming kittens that have not yet been listed.

2. Send an Inquiry

Once you find a kitten you love, simply submit an inquiry through our website.

Let us know which kitten you are interested in and provide some basic information about yourself and the home you can offer.

We will confirm availability, answer your questions, and provide the information needed to move forward.

3. Reserve Your Kitten

Once your application is approved and availability is confirmed, a reservation deposit may be required to place the kitten on hold.

The deposit is applied toward the final purchase price and officially reserves the kitten for you. Once reserved, the kitten will no longer be offered to other families.
Specific reservation terms will be provided before any payment is requested.

4. Stay Connected

Waiting for your kitten to come home is part of the fun.

While your kitten is growing, you can receive photos, videos, and updates and watch your new family member develop.

We are also available to answer questions and help you prepare for your kitten's arrival.

5. Preparing to Go Home

Our kittens are not released until they are physically and socially ready to transition to their new families.

Before going home, kittens receive age-appropriate veterinary care, vaccinations, deworming, and health preparation according to the standards of their breeding program.
Information regarding veterinary records, registration, microchipping when applicable, and other documentation will be provided with your kitten.

6. Contract & Final Payment

Before your kitten goes home, you will receive a written Sales Contract outlining the terms of the purchase, health guarantee, and responsibilities associated with your kitten.
The remaining balance is due according to the terms provided with your reservation.

7. Pickup or Delivery

Depending on the kitten's location and your destination, several transportation options may be available.

These may include personal pickup, professional pet nanny service, ground transportation, or airport delivery.

We can help coordinate the best option for getting your kitten safely home.

One Place. Trusted Kittens. Responsible Breeders.

You shouldn't have to search through dozens of websites, questionable advertisements, and social media accounts trying to determine which breeders you can trust.
Every kitten listed through Midwest Maine Coons comes from a breeding program we know and are comfortable representing.

You find the kitten you love. We'll take care of the rest.
